Traffic rule is different in Nepal as compared to western countries. Because in western country vehicles go through the right side but in Nepal, it goes through the left side.

While crossing the road you have to look first right and then left but in the western country you have to look first left and then right side.

Nepali police forces have limited resources and lack sufficient manpower to effectively implement law and order.
So you need to be careful for yourself.

When you travel through a taxi always look meter whether it is running or not. For western people, they make a high price than the local. if there are no meters try to fix a price before entering in a taxi

To be safe in Nepal Always try to keep your credit card with you. Don't try to show off maybe someone watching you.

Robbery

There are many cases that things are lost from the hotel room while you are sleeping or when out of the room.

Emotional scam

this scam is common in Nepal and India. they approach a child to ask for the money of help by emotional you will do as they want.

Some bars in Nepal especially in Kathmandu were tourists are charged for a high amount of drink and harassment.

Thing in Nepal is more expensive for the western people while the shop keeper also tells the high price at this you have to do bargaining.
If you think the price is high just bargain up 20% to 30%.

In city area shop like garment, accessories, gear and clothing shop where you can bargain
but in high altitude areas please don't bargain because at that are there are many reasons to price go high.

Nepal is a good place to get to with the number of accidents occurring in this country linked to sudden natural calamities.

for solo female travelers, people advise you to travel at groups when potential yet for what it is valuable, I personally never felt threatened or unsafe.

Even when many people roaming in the very local fields of Kathmandu there is no issue.

As the general rule, here are a couple of preventative precautions that you should make, follow particularly if you are planning to start alone trekking.

If you are a solo female person, then there are one or two more things to prevent being safe in Nepal. well, trekking in Nepal as a solo person is not recommended.

trekking tips

Is Nepal safe to visit here the tips for trekking in Nepal?
Is Nepal safe to visit

plan your trip in advance it can be two to three months at least.

Try to make use of the existing gear and also get it for rent if needed instead of buying the brand new ones so that will save you a lot of money.

Reaching the campsite or the nearest town wherever you're planning to trek at least two days in advance it will definitely help you in getting acclimatized to that area.

At least one or two days in addition once you complete the trek.
For example, if the trek is for five days then you may want to keep two days before you start with the trek and also at least one day after you complete so that you can explore near the area.

if you're planning some advance trek or at least a moderate level trek or Himalayan track which is of four to five days a week-long trek then I would highly recommend you do some kind of jogging or running instead of just walking.

Having bread and butter all the time doesn't give you power so I would highly recommend you get used to the local food like dal, Bhaat, Dedo, and Roti which is easily available because you don't want to fall sick when you're up in the mountains.

COVID-19

The world was  battling COVID-19

No place at this point of  time in this world is safe today when the world  is battling over COVID-19 crisis it is  advisable to stay back at your homes  stay quarantined and make the world a  better place to live in for future
